Celebrating 50 Years

Les was led the push for a conference at Mudgee, was a member of the NSW and Australian Committees, and a recipient of a Service Award. His service is listed below: 

NSW Committee:

• 4 years on the Committee – 1990-91 until 1994-95
• 2 years as Chairman –  1993-94 and 1994-95 

National Board:

• 2 years on the Committee – 1993-94 and 1994-95 

Conference Committees:

• 1 Local Organising Committee, as Conference Chairman for the 1995 conference in Mudgee.  

Les worked for Long Reach Power Station and Moura CHPP, before moving to NSW to work at Ulan mine.
