Prominent Persons

Cec very much embodied the ethos of the Coal Preparation Society and the Conference Golf Trophy is named in his honour. He served on the New South Wales Branch committee and the Australian National Board. His service is listed below: 

NSW Committee:

• 7 years on the Committee – 1991-92 until  1997-98
• 2 years as Chairman –  1996-97 to 1997-98 

National Board:

• 2 years on the Committee – 1996-97 to 1997-98 

Conference Committees:

• 2 Local Organising Committee. 

Cec was widely known throughout the industry for his work with Nalco (formerly known as Catoleum). Sadly Cec passed away on 4 July 1997 as he was approaching retirement.
